We are a group of educators, parents, and childcare extraordinaries - on a mission to revolutionize early childhood education to include more language access, more child-led learning, and more playing to learn.
The first of its kind in the state, Blue Bridge ASL Academy sets out to be a community hub for both hearing and Deaf communities. Its’ ultimate purpose is to open communication and ensure equal language access for all children and families, while also empowering the next generation of advocates and allies.

Blue Bridge is a proud provider of gold standard Frog Street™ curriculum from infancy through pre-K. As a comprehensive, research-informed, child-centered learning design, Frog Street™ equips us in our foremost passion of meeting each child where they are, and bringing forth upward mobility in early childhood development.
Whole-Child Development
In the spirit of celebrating every child, Blue Bridge’s Child Success Coalition Celebration is offered to every incoming student. In this coalition, we open up the ongoing discussion of your child’s own diverse skills, strengths, challenges and potential aspects of support. Our educators, administrators and parents work to nourish the best in every child. Let’s talk about what your child does best!
Sensory & Therapy Friendly
From comprehensively informed educators, to thoughtfully-designed learning environments - Blue Bridge prioritizes each child’s comfort and care in alignment with what they need, when. Our classrooms are thoughtfully created to meet sensory needs - with therapy spaces and direct care available for children who may benefit from dedicated resources.
Community Based
We whole-heartedly believe that it takes a village. Every parent, child, teacher, and community member is invited to participate in annual social functions and celebrations - where we come together to join hand-in-hand, in the spirit of community.

Meet
Mrs. Kat
The founding director of Blue Bridge, Mrs. Kat (or rather, “Mama Kat” to her 6 daughters), has been on a lifelong mission to “bridge” the two worlds between Deaf & hearing. Born as a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) - Mrs. Kat always knew she wanted to become a Nationally Certified ASL Interpreter and ASL Instructor when she grew up... And guess what? She brought that dream to life! Then, in recognizing her passion for children as our future, she took the leap to dream up Blue Bridge, too! Mrs. Kat is now on a mission to empower the next generation of advocates & allies, and to normalize diversity in early childcare - starting with the friends at Blue Bridge ASL Academy!
